Hey, there's some good news to check out!

Hey, there's good news to check out!#

🍋 Hi#

❤️ Seeing words as if not.
In the previous post, I mentioned that I will pick up WeChat Official Account in the future and use it as a platform to operate. Regardless of the outcome, I will at least continue to post some content on it. So, a new post is coming soon. By the way, the content of the WeChat Official Account will also be synchronized to my blog, so you can also see my posts on iamalex.blue. The content may not be posted at the same time, and it is not ruled out that the content of both may be exactly the same. If there are any new events during the sending process, they should also be added to the blog. However, the WeChat Official Account has a limit on the number of changes, so if you want to see the most comprehensive content, please go to the blog to read it.

Still in the previous post, I said there was good news to tell everyone, but because it was not certain at the time, I did not announce it immediately. Just yesterday, it really happened.

I finally got a job!!!

🚧 What is work#

As for the nature of the work, it is of course related to my major, chemistry and energy. As for which company, I currently don't plan to reveal it. At the same time I signed the job, a very good friend of mine also had good news. He also signed a great job, and I am happy for myself and for him.
As for my attitude towards this job, I will certainly devote myself to it with my greatest enthusiasm. It is my first full-time job in my life. But those who know me know that when I came to this university, I wasn't very interested in chemistry, to put it another way, I hated it.

📚 My university life#

In my freshman and sophomore years, this hatred manifested as inaction. I didn't listen in class or study after class, which resulted in me failing four courses in the first two years of college. In my sophomore year, a new roommate came to my dormitory, and he changed me a lot in the following two years. He taught me how to study, how to grab the front row, how to review for final exams, and how to prepare for exams. In this environment, my grades improved significantly, at least in my opinion.

In the following two years, I didn't fail any exams. My attitude towards studying and life underwent a great transformation. Undoubtedly, I think these results are due to the changes he brought to me, so I am very grateful to him.

Speaking of the four years of university, sometimes it feels like a moment. Because our class happened to encounter the epidemic in our sophomore year, and inexplicably, we lost a semester and gained an extra semester of online classes on DingTalk. Looking back at the four years of college at the crossroads of graduation and employment, I don't know why I have so many emotions.

In these four years, compared to the professional knowledge I learned, I think the methods of dealing with life and difficulties that the university environment taught me are the things that are worth remembering in my life. Whether I will continue to work in my field in the future or not, these unique experiences will be the best witness to my growth.

🌈 What about the future?#

Compared to the me who was still frantically reviewing and preparing for self-study exams a while ago, and the me who anxiously checked every school message every day, I now feel relaxed and carefree. I think if you haven't experienced it, you won't be able to understand it. I believe that the dark days will also serve as a warning bell and make me remember to strive for a better life every day.

I have always liked Halsey, and to some extent, I think she represents the kind of freedom I want to pursue. I really like the album BADLANDS (Live From Webster Hall), and the segment Forget Her And Find Her - Talking Break - Live From Webster Hall is a speech by Halsey at a concert, which I think is great:

"I don't usually like giving you a ton of advice during my shows because I mean, what the fuck do I know that you don't know? I'm  a, I'm a disaster, um But I do give you one piece of advice right now, I want to remind you that if you lose yourself, it's never too late to find yourself again."

Hey, there's good news to check out!

🪀 Let's talk about something light#

  • I have read a great blog called Insomnia Strait - I want to meet you frankly, the blogger's writing is delicate and touching, I recommend it to everyone.
  • I downloaded the SourceNote again. The reason is that I was attracted by a blogger's sharing about the new version update of SourceNote on Yuque, and I am actually very interested in SourceNote. Overall, it didn't disappoint me. This post was also edited using SourceNote. So, in the previous post, I just mentioned that I switched to a new Official Account editor, and coincidentally, SourceNote can also convert Markdown to Official Account article format and has a great WYSIWYG Markdown editor. So, I decided to use this article to test which tool has a better publishing effect between the two.

Hey, there's good news to check out!

  • I saw a recommendation from the Hugo official website account on Twitter and tried a vscode plugin called Front Matter. Simply put, if you have a blog built with Hexo, Hugo, Jekyll, Gatsby, etc., and happen to use vscode to edit and manage blog articles, Front Matter can help you do this more conveniently and easily. After a simple trial, it has been integrated into my Gatsby blog and works great. I also recommend it to you if you have the same needs.

Hey, there's good news to check out!

  • I learned about an interesting website from Ruanyifeng's Network Diary, called deskto.ps. On this website, you can see desktop screenshots uploaded by different users. As a technology enthusiast who automatically starts color recognition software when seeing screenshots on a phone, this website is really interesting 2333.

Hey, there's good news to check out!

  • There is also a game news from the TG channel, Epic will give away Dead by Daylight next week (Epic is awesome!!!) (Channel submission: @zaihuabot - Follow the channel: @TestFlightCN).

💻 A summary#

That's about it for the news. In the future, I will update my blog and WeChat Official Account more frequently. Some friends may be curious about my sources of information. My usual channels for understanding news are newsletters, Twitter, TG, Jike, MSP, IT Home, Coolapk, Yuque, and some personal blogs. However, due to the recent popularity of Substack newsletters, many bloggers have also started using this old but "new" tool to share their views and opinions.

Of course, I am no exception (I can't forget to advertise myself in the end 233). I also started a newsletter on Revue. Currently, I have only published one issue, and it will be updated as I feel like it (it is impossible to update regularly in this lifetime, doge). In the future, I may include the "Let's talk about something light" section in the newsletter and send it by email. It all depends on the performance later.

Finally, here is the subscription link fluoxetine12. If you are interested, you can subscribe and give it a try!

👋 See you next time~!
